The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) conducts the Prosecuting Officer Examination to recruit officers in the Home Department of J&K. Candidates serving in this role are responsible for representing the State in criminal prosecutions in the Magsitarte Courts across the State.

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective)
Screening test consisting of two objective-type papers with multiple choice questions. Paper 1st Consisting of Legal Papers and Paper 2nd being based upon Legal and Logical Reasoning.
